Hello there!
We are a small, locally owned Davines concept salon dedicated to bringing you the highest quality hair care experience. We’ve chosen to partner with Davines because of their exceptional quality, passion for sustainability, and innovation. We take pride in creating fashion-forward modern looks that reflect the unique spirit and style of our community.
We are committed to providing fair wages and benefits that support our team's livelihood. We believe that our employees deserve financial stability and fair compensation for their expertise and creativity. By valuing our team's contributions, we create an environment where they can thrive and continue to provide exceptional service to our valued guests.
We understand the importance of personal time. That's why we offer generous paid time off to our team members, allowing them to recharge, pursue personal interests, and enjoy quality time with loved ones. We believe that a well-rested and fulfilled team leads to better guest experiences and a happier salon environment.
The well-being of our team extends beyond time off. We are proud to provide comprehensive health and dental insurance coverage to our team. We believe in taking care of their overall well-being, ensuring they have access to quality healthcare and financial security in times of need. By offering these benefits, we create an environment where our team can focus on their craft, knowing that their health needs are supported.
At Marin Hair Co, we are more than just a salon; we are a destination where artistry, community, and personal connections thrive. Step into our salon and experience the passion and dedication of our team.
Our policies
For the safety and the comfort of everyone, all patrons must be at least 12 years old.
We are an intimate space. Please refrain from bringing anyone with you to your appointment for any reason. If you do have to bring someone with you, they must remain in our waiting area. We ask that children younger than 12 be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who is not receiving a service, at all times. We unfortunately will have to reschedule you if you arrive without someone to accompany your children and you will be charged a cancellation fee.
For the comfort of everyone. We do not allow any speaker features on electronic devices to be used in our space. We encourage the use of headphones when using your phone, tablet, laptop, etc. And ask that you keep phone calls to a minimum.
In the winter months or on hazardous days we do not allow outside footwear into our workspace. Please be prepared to remove your footwear if you are receiving a service. We have salon CROCS for you to change into. If you would rather bring your own “inside shoes” please feel free to do so.
All haircut services include a wash, blow-dry, and style.
All color services except stand-alone toning services receive a complimentary basic drying (blow dry/diffuse/hood dry) service based upon hair type. If you would like a blow dry and style, please let us know so we can properly book you for that added service. For example, if you have curly hair and want to wear it straight, or vice versa.
Bang trims must be booked within 90 days of a haircut with the stylist who previously cut your hair. Please arrive with clean, dry hair, and your bangs in their natural state (not clipped up/away). We do not accept new guests for bang trims.
Our goal is to create a custom look for our guests. We calculate our pricing based upon the lifestyle, budget, needs, and goals of our guests. We take into consideration that the amount of product and time you need is an important part of the end result. All of our priced upon consultation. If you have any questions about the specific pricing of our services, please email us.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and exact cash as forms of payment. For safety reasons we do not keep change on hand.
We want to make sure you are happy with your purchase. We pride ourselves in creating the best customer experience possible. If there is anything we can do to improve upon your experience, please let us know within 10 days of your service. We do not provide refunds for services rendered.
We are a small operation, working on very tight margins. Returned products can seriously eat into those margins. We strongly discourage guests from buying products just to try them. Because of this, products purchased cannot be returned. If you experience any defects, please contact us so we can make it right.
We require a credit card to be placed on file for all appointments.
We understand busy schedules and different circumstances cannot be avoided so we are happy to cancel your haircut appointment with 24 hours’ notice. Color services require 48 hours’ notice. You can cancel your appointment by filling out the form located at the contact page of marinhairco.com. We do not accept appointment cancellations via text message. Our automated texting system is to send you reminders and updates, we do not receive replies.
Cancellations with less than 24/48 hours’ notice will be charged $45 or 25% on services over $200. Missed appointments are subject to charge in the full amount. This policy and charges are indisputable and cannot be excused for any reason.
To avoid inconveniencing on-time guests. Late arrivals after 10 minutes are subject to late fees and/or cancellation. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are running late by calling the salon at 773-687-9990.
